Diagnol French Braid

Start the french braid on the side instead of center. Elastic at the end and finish with messy bun. The bad thing about this is that it doesn't stay in real well. My little girl had fly aways up front and in back real quick. Be sure to gel and spray heavily!! I love the low side messy bun, so this is just another variation :)

3 Twist-throughs into 2 Messy Buns

Start with 3 twist-throughs (if I need to explain these or do a video of them, let me know. They're pretty common). Then split the middle one and part the rest of the hair down the middle into 2 high piggies, then make them into messy buns. I am working on getting a video clip of messy buns. If you look at the June 6th post there's step by step pictures but I know they're hard to explain unless you actually see it done! Also, for short hair you can just do the twist-throughs.

Triple French Braid....

This one is pretty self explanatory.

1. Part the hair in desired places.

2. French braid each section. ( It's easier if you pull other sections back while working on one)

3. Add bows!!! It's as easy as one, two, three!

My favorite part about doing the triple french braid, is the curly hair the next day!
I just add a cute headband! All I did is hot glue a HUGE flower to an existing headband.

The Punk Rocker Do...

This one is a little wild, but I was experimenting and it
totally fits Brooklyn's sassy personality!

1. Make two sections at the bottom of the neck, and put into piggies!

2. Loop piggies into a messy bun.
3. Part the next section and repeat.

4. Keep repeating as many times as desired!( I went CRAZY!
I think it would be really cute leaving the bottom section down as well.)

5. I only did one loop at the top.

6. You can add colorful bows or clippies. I only added small clippy claws because the hair already made a HUGE statement!

Twisted Braid Piggies...Instructions

Here are the instructions for this hair do I posted earlier!

1. Part the hair as desired!( I like really funky parts, but you can leave it simple as well.)

2. Put the hair into to piggies!

3. Braid each side and add it into the other!

4. You can add a twist if you want

5. Part the hair and repeat the same process!

6. Make messy buns and add desired bows!

Diagnol Little Ponies

I like to do a diagnol part with 2 ponies but the other day I just kept adding small ones to each side. It could look even better with more or with them french braided, but I was in a hurry! There's 3 on her right side, and 4 on her left- pretty simple but a little different!

Circle French Braid

This, I think, is a little dressy. I like it for church, a wedding, or something nice. Part the hair horizontal just above the ears, then at the side you want to start with, part it a down a little lower- I do this so the end bun isn't too high. Start braiding while trying to keep the rounded look (hold down the bottom half with an elastic until you get most of the way across the top). The parts on the outer edge are bigger pieces than from the center, which are actually little triangles. At the end put in an elastic then make a messy bun to finish it!!

Pony Weave

Start with 6 little ponies across the front (or more if you want but it kinda' gets hard to control them all). Cross them over each other making a weave over to the 2 bigger ponies. You could also do the 6 a little bigger with the 2 big ponies being all their hair in pigtails!!

French Braids -Flipped Up Ends

This is just a different way to end basic french braids. At the end, braid 2/3 way down, put in an elastic, then flip it upside down and elastic again and curl the top back over. I do french braids alot so I'm always trying to do them a little different!

4 Messy Buns

Just part the hair down the middle and then horizontal just above the ears. Bring all 4 sections toward the middle into individual ponies, then turn them all into messy buns. Way cute & easy!

Twisted Braid Piggies...

I apologize that I do not have the step by step picture instructions for this hair do! I took this picture before this blog was started! I will take pictures and post the instructions the next time I do this Hair Style, ENJOY!!!

Colorful Hair Ponies..

These Bows are SUPER easy to make and
I think they are pretty darn cute!
All you need is,
~Two thick, circle hair ties

~The colors of ribbon you want, cut to the same size!
(Just a tip:The shorter you cut the ribbon, the fuller the bow looks!)

~ A lighter, to seal the ends! Just Quickly move the lighter over the ends!
(Another tip: Don't use the lighter on sheer ribbon, or tool!)

~OPTIONAL, Hot Glue Gun and any little things you want to add to the ends!
( I added small flowers and buttons to the ends of mine!)

These bows go cute with any up do!
(Yet another tip: The more texture to the bow the cuter it is!
I think so anyway!!)

Low Side Messy Bun

OK, hopefully 7 pictures will help explain this one! This is actually my favorite style right now. I see it all the time, even on teenagers with a flower up front-. Each picture is a new elastic, but her hair is really thick! If you're working with thin hair, you could probably get away with 3 elastics. Start out with a regular pony. Add another looped upside down with the end sticking out up top. Use another elastic to do another loop half way over the last one (so it ends up cutting the last loop in half). Keep adding elastics looped half over the last one until it's a big mess! Tug, pull, rat until it's how you like it and hair spray like crazy!! Finish by curling the top straight pieces so they curl over top of the bun-. These can be used in many different styles, so from now on we'll just say finish with "messy buns"!!

Flipped Up Pony

This is super fast and easy but looks much better than just a regular pony. Just put in a regular parted pony then twist it up a little and put a clip to hold it up higher than the actually elastic. The hair (if thick enough) will cover the clip and elastic. Curl the ends real quick with a flat iron or curling iron- easy & cute!

Side-Ways French Braids

This I actually first saw one Sat. morning on 'Hanna Montana' about a year ago. (This is starting to get embarrasing where I get my ideas). Her's were very loose and without the loop though. Anyway, just part down the middle and start each side at the crown and pull from front and back then keep braiding and loop at the ends. I usually put a small elastic at the end of the braid, then use a bigger one to loop the ends. It's cute with ribbons or bows at the top of the loop!-
