Braids and Bows..

Start off with parting the top section how you would like. I like the slanted part for a more interesting look, but you can also do a straight part.

French Braid it down to the middle part.

French Braid the other side down to the middle.

Add the bottom parts up to the top. I used separate hair ties to keep the top more secure, but if you don't like to add a flower, then I would add the bottom section in with the same hair tie. Then, braid the extra hair and hook it
together in the middle.





Add Bows or Flowers, and curl remaining hair!

To make the flower, all I did was hot glue a dollar store flower to a clip.

Super Easy!.

Twisted Buns..

Part the hair into six sections. Three on each side.Twist each section back and add it to the next by twisting them together.

At the bottom twist them all into a bun. I used bobby pins to help hold it in place.

Add ribbon or Bows!

A Bun for short Hair..

My daughters friend knew that she wanted a bun, but we were having a hard time making all of the hair stay in because she has shorter hair. So we came up with a solution. We pulled the middle section up by parting it in a circle.

Then we squared off sections into rubber bands to hold the short hair in place.

Finally we pulled the rest into a pony, curled under ends to form a bun, and secured them with bobby pins.



She was satisfied!

All Curled Up..

We had guests for the week, and this curling iron was well used. Here are a few different styles we did with curls. I love that this can be used for long or short hair.

We curled Kennedy's hair all over, gave it a good spray, and pulled back the front section with bobby pins.

On this hair style we started by parting the hair and braiding each side half way back until they connected to the side. Then we added some ribbon, and curled it all over.

This one is hard to explain, but I will try. You start by parting the sections you would like to do. I parted several sections in the front of her hair line. Then you separate each section into two parts and tie as if starting to tie your shoe lace. Then you keep wrapping each piece under the middle, and pull to stay in place. I love that it uses NO hair ties.

Curl it everywhere,

and you are finished!

3 Twists to Piggies

This I just kinda' did as I went, but I guess it turned out OK. Start with the middle triangle and twist (cork-screw I think is what people call it) to one side, hold with elastic. Then do the same with the other 2 triangles and have them twist to the opposite sides. Pull them into piggies and make messy buns!

Valentine Hearts

Both of my girls wanted hearts for thier school parties today. For shorter hair, part down the middle first then part back to a point. Secure one side while braiding the other. Make a small part just to start the beginning of the heart. Braid around then elastic the 2 together when finished. She was mad 'cause she thought I was laughing at her smile---For longer hair, do the same thing only bigger. Next time I'd start back a little so it looked more like a heart from the back but it still turned out pretty cute :)

Puffy Piggies

This is super easy but I do it all the time so I figured it should be on here-. Part the piggies how you like, (make sure they're low) then loop them upside down. Curl the ends back over top, rat (alot!) and hairspray.

Four squares into Piggies..

Part top, middle section of hair into four squares.

Pull each section through into Topsy tails.

Add each section into your piggies.

Add Bows!

Fancy Twists..

I think this would be fun for a wedding, church, or class pictures.

Start by parting the hair down the middle. Then section off, and twist to meet in the back.

Repeat this process until all of the hair is twisted back.

Of coarse you have to add some cute flower clips, ribbons, or bows.

I pulled my bottom section, (the left over hair) up into two messy buns.

Full Of Curls..

I wanted a hair style that gave my daughters hair volume, so I came up with this.

Square off sections of hair, ear to ear. Then pull hair through in an upside down Topsy tail for the volume.

Curl each individual piece.

add a cute headband.

Cork Screw Pony Tail.

Start off by parting the middle section of hair in a circle.

pull section into a pony and out of the way. Square off remaining hair all the way around.

Cork screw hair from squared off pieces, and add into pony.

Add some cute flower clips, and VOILA... a cute and unique pony tail.

The fact that she was smiling after my trial and errors, is a miracle.
